Individuals, organisations and commercial enterprises can join us by completing the downloadable application form together with the appropriate remittance. Full Membership and Associate Membership is available as well as subscription to VOLE ( ‘Voluntary Organisations, Local Energies’ ) The Newsletter for South Shropshire’s Community and Voluntary Groups.

Full Membership
Membership of South Shropshire Voluntary Action is open to registered charities, developing non-profit organisations, individuals and non-profit organisations see membership form for scale of fees.

The right to nominate members of the Board of Directors and vote at AGM
The right to input into the work of SSVA, and its policy, through membership meetings
Support with representation and consultation
Members discount on training courses
Lower rate room hire and photocopying/printing costs
Full membership is open to voluntary and community organisations and individuals that comply with the aims and objectives of SSVA. Membership is subject to approval of the SSVA Board of Directors.
Annual turnover UNDER £10,000 pa - £7.50 per year.
Annual turnover UNDER £100,000 pa - £15 per year
Annual turnover OVER £100,000 pa - £37.50 per year
To receive VOLE only £3 per year
All subscription fees are due annually from September, mid term joining costs are pro rata.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
For companies and commercial enterprises with a commitment to corporate community involvement and for statutory agencies wanting to support SSVA and use some of the services. Fees are negotiable depending on annual turnover and number of staff.

People / organisations can subscribe to VOLE, issued 4 times a year, with articles from voluntary organisations and volunteering opportunities.
